Furniture Objects is based on an ambition to create aesthetic and attractive objects - furniture and objects based on a circular form of production. My furniture and objects are most often based on found weathered natural objects. This is linked to an awareness of contemporary ecological issues and a desire to create aesthetic objects as a basis for a possible sustainable way of life.
Between 2011-2013, I performed interior design for the high end fashion store ‘NAG store’. In 2013 I participated in my first group exhibition at Brantebjerggård. In 2015, I performed one larger sculpture for Det Frie Gymnasium. In 2017, I held my first solo exhibition in the Pavilion no.11 at Kongens Have. My most recent solo exhibition was in 2020 at Stadens Museum for Art. For a number of years, I have continuously made interior assignments for both private and for companies. Most of my objects I carry out at my workshop in Burmeistersgade, Christianshavn. A number of objects are today in private ownership.
Originally I am a graduate of cand.phil. in Modern Culture and Cultural Communication from the University of Copenhagen. After years of grassroots involvement in Copenhagen's urban development, I have worked with project management within climate behavior and urban development in the City of Copenhagen. In addition, I have worked with innovation and concept development for private companies and taught young people about sustainable innovation and social entrepreneurship.
Furniture Objects stems from a lifelong passion for an ecological aesthetic.
